Obtaining a structural concrete additivated with graphene for its application in the construction of containment infrastructures of liquid pollutants

This project works on the design and development of a material that can be used in construction and has the capacity to with stand the aggressive effects caused by the attack of chemical agents.


Innovative Elements:

  • The addition of graphene to a greater extent, and other additives, produce improvements to the concrete as the increase of the resistance of the material to the flexion and compression, as well as the decrease of the porous structure.
  • It improves the degree of hydration and density of the cement, and what is obtained. It is much more waterproof and more durable, thus improving all its properties.
