Magtel is carrying out railway signalling works on the Grañén–Monzón Río Cinca section for CAF Signalling, delivering activities focused on modernising the control and safety systems of the railway infrastructure.

The project involves the upgrade of railway signalling and telecommunications systems through the installation of new train detection equipment, signals, technical cabinets, and power and signalling cabling. The scope of work also includes the replacement of existing installations, the integration of ASFA train protection systems, and the modernisation of fixed telecommunications through digital transmission technologies and fibre-optic networks. These improvements are aimed at enhancing the safety, reliability, and operational performance of railway services on this strategic section of the rail network.
