The new food market in Bujalance (Córdoba) will feature 16 stalls for product sales and a parking lot with 50 new spaces. This will be the new layout of the future building, improving accessibility and the current entrance image, and addressing existing parking and unloading issues.

Magtel’s Infrastructure Division is currently carrying out the earthworks, foundation construction, and floor slabs, as well as the enclosures of the building for the new food market. These enclosures will allow natural light to enter and improve the climate control inside the market, which was previously very sealed off.

Additionally, there are plans to redevelop the entire surrounding area of this new facility by replacing outdated sanitation, potable water supply, and public lighting infrastructure.

The project is being carried out on a plot of land measuring 1,087.67 m2, and the estimated construction period is 12 months.

Heritage of Cultural Interest

The building is included in the historic-artistic ensemble of Bujalance, it is a Cultural Heritage site based on the Spanish Law of Historical Heritage, and it is registered in the General Catalog of Andalusian Historical Heritage under the Law of Historical Heritage of Andalusia.
