Magtel has been selected by the Municipal Water Company of Córdoba (EMACSA) to take part, together with Insituform, in the rehabilitation of the city’s sewerage network. This initiative is aimed at improving the structural and operational condition of the existing pipelines, extending their service life and enhancing the reliability of the urban wastewater system.

The works focus on the rehabilitation of sections of the sewerage network using techniques that allow intervention from within the pipelines, largely avoiding the need for open-cut excavations. This approach significantly reduces disruption to traffic, urban activity and existing services, while improving the watertightness and strength of the rehabilitated pipes.

Magtel has a well-established track record in sewerage network rehabilitation projects using trenchless technologies (No-Dig Rehabilitation), a key discipline in the maintenance and preservation of water infrastructure in urban environments.
