Works for the new Outpatient Clinics building in the Maternal and Infant Area of Hospital Reina Sofia

Magtel’s Infrastructures area is constructing a seven-storey building for the Andalusian Health Service, which depends on the Andalusian Regional Government’s Department of Health and Families, to house the outpatient clinics of the Maternal and Infant Area of the HURS.

The facilities, built by the joint venture ACSA infraestructuras (Sorigué)-Magtel, consist of 140 consulting rooms, as well as rehabilitation and physiotherapy rooms, waiting rooms and common areas, as well as technical rooms for the facilities.

In addition, the new emergency department access road will be constructed, as well as the urbanisation surrounding this new building, whicj connects homogeneously with the urbanisation of the existing hospital complex.

Two of the most important aspects are, on the one hand, the need to open the new emergency road that will connect the roundabout at Avenida San Alberto Magno with Menéndez Pidal, up to the junction with the current emergency road

Another important aspect is the new sanitation network planned, which will interconnect the existing installations of the hospital centre and the housing development to be built with the existing collector at Avenida Menéndez Pidal, all by means of a drive solution that will cross the roundabout between San Alberto Magno and Menéndez Pidal, avoiding traffic disruptions and delays due to archaeological supervision.
