Magtel is part of the joint venture that will carry out the modernisation of the railway line between Pablo de Olavide and Montecarmelo

The joint venture formed by Magtel, Enyse and Sineox Raíl will carry out the project to modernise the railway system of the tram line connecting Pablo de Olavide University with Montecarmelo, in Alcalá de Guadaíra, which is currently out of service. This project, aimed at improving the railway transport infrastructure in the province of Seville, seeks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of a line used daily by thousands of passengers.

The project, with a budget of 23.2 million euros, includes the installation and commissioning of signalling, communications, control and safety systems, and the execution period is estimated to be 16 months.

From a technical perspective, the project involves implementing signalling and safety systems to reduce the likelihood of failures, improve train‑flow management, and monitor the condition of the line in real time. At the same time, energy consumption will be optimised in order to minimise the environmental impact.
