Magtel took part in the first event of the series organised by La Voz de Córdoba to mark the 25th anniversary of Caja Rural del Sur, highlighting its commitment to innovation and development in Córdoba. The forum was created as a space for reflection to analyse the evolution and modernisation of the province’s business landscape.
Representing the company, Isidro López Magdaleno, Vice President of Magtel, took part in the event’s main round-table discussion, sharing his vision and experience on the role of the financial institution in driving Córdoba’s economic development.
The meeting brought together business and institutional representatives, including Antonio Díaz, President of CECO, and Salvador Fuentes, President of the Provincial Council. Moderated by La Voz de Córdoba, the panel explored how Caja Rural del Sur has supported the growth of Córdoba-based companies at key moments, facilitating strategic investments and backing modernisation processes that have contributed to the province’s economic development.
During his speech, Isidro López Magdaleno outlined Magtel’s perspective, highlighting the importance for the business sector of having financial institutions that are committed to innovation, sustainability and technological growth. He also emphasised the value of public–private collaboration and the need to continue strengthening partnerships that generate opportunities in strategic sectors, particularly those linked to energy, digitalisation and infrastructure—areas in which Magtel plays a decisive role in Andalusia and in Córdoba.
The forum also highlighted the backbone role played by Caja Rural del Sur throughout its 25-year history, consolidating its position as an institution close to the productive fabric and committed to the business and social growth of the province. Its model of proximity and ongoing support was widely recognised by participants, who agreed in emphasising its driving role within Córdoba’s economic ecosystem.
Magtel’s participation in this series reaffirms the group’s commitment to spaces for debate and reflection that help strengthen the local economy, as well as its support for initiatives that promote innovation and development in Córdoba and the sustainable progress of the region.
