Magtel board member and president of Fundación Magtel, Auxiliadora López Magdaleno, has been recognised as one of the 100 Leading Women in Andalusian Industry 2026, a publication promoted by the Regional Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Government of Andalusia and presented at an institutional event held at the Palacio de San Telmo in Seville. The presentation was attended by the President of the Government of Andalusia, Juanma Moreno, who highlighted the decisive role of women in the industrial progress of the region.

During his address, Moreno underlined the positive momentum that Andalusian industry is experiencing and the need to give visibility to female role models who can inspire girls and young women to choose studies linked to engineering, technology, industry or energy—sectors where the presence of women is growing but still has room for further progress.

Also speaking on behalf of all the women included in the publication were Concha Yoldi, president of Persán, and Eva Laín, CEO of Lain Tech, both key figures in Andalusia’s innovative industrial network and central participants in the official presentation ceremony.

López Magdaleno appears as a leading figure due to her key role in the energy transition, innovation and digitalisation within the Magtel group, as well as for her work at the helm of Fundación Magtel, where she leads social impact and sustainability initiatives aimed at generating opportunities and fostering territorial cohesion.

In her remarks following the publication, she emphasised the collective nature of the recognition:

“I am the visible face of this recognition, but none of this would have been possible without the work, perseverance, dedication and sacrifice of my brothers and of all the professionals at Magtel. My family has a clear goal: to bring value to our land, Andalusia, through entrepreneurship.”

López Magdaleno’s presence in this report confirms the relevance of the Magtel group in the industrial and technological development of Andalusia and highlights the role of Fundación Magtel in promoting social innovation, sustainability and employability projects that contribute to a more equitable and advanced production model.

The publication 100 Leading Women in Andalusian Industry 2026 brings together profiles ranging from engineering and energy to mining, aeronautics, technology and agri-industry, and aims to inspire new generations of women to enter sectors that require specialised talent and transformative leadership.
