Magtel’s Digital Transformation & BPO Division has established itself as a leading entity in the provision of consultancy, engineering, and specialized technical assistance services related to the main corporate telecommunications networks and e-administration platforms in Andalusia.
An example of this is the provision of cabling and relocation services for the racks and ICT equipment of the Department of Equality and Social Policies to the ‘Zoco’ Data Processing Center located in Tomares. The work was carried out in five phases:
- Inventory, identification, and labeling of the equipment and patch cords to be relocated.
- Packaging and transportation of the equipment, ensuring the physical integrity and functionality of all equipment. Magtel’s technicians worked to comply with storage conditions and the necessary approvals to ensure a safe relocation. Once the relocation was completed, Magtel proceeded to install the racks and equipment and prepare their electrical connection.
- Installation of the relocated equipment to the electrical network of the ‘Zoco’ Data Processing Center.
- Installation of the communication fiber optic cabling network, with Magtel supplying the necessary materials such as fiber optic cables and copper and fiber patch cords.
- Relocation and installation of a fireproof cabinet during working hours at the ‘Zoco’ Data Processing Center, ensuring its preservation and proper functioning.
In addition to providing these services, the Division offers a 24-month warranty for any breakdowns caused by installation defects.
