Deployment of Medium Voltage Overhead Network in Catalonia
Specifically, the project has involved the deployment of 16,000 meters of Medium Voltage (25 kV – LA 110/180) overhead network in hard-to-reach areas such as the La Molina ski resort, the Nuria Valley, the Ribes Valley, the Mongroni Valley, and Dorria, all located in Catalonia.
- Key features:
- Deployment of 16,000 meters of Medium Voltage (25 kV – LA 110/180) network.
- Installation of metal towers on slopes of up to 65% using helicopters.
- Construction of foundations for towers through the excavation of wells up to 32 meters in height.
- Access to challenging terrains including rocky areas through drilling and the use of expansive cement.
- Construction of tracks and roads in mountainous areas to facilitate vehicle access.
- Equipment and vehicles adapted to mountain weather conditions.
