Magtel addresses talent challenges as a strategic driver for the company

Magtel has taken part in a new edition of “La Córdoba que Despierta”, an event organised by Onda Cero Córdoba to address talent challenges as a strategic driver for companies.

The meeting, held at the Hotel Mezquita Center, featured the participation of Inmaculada Junquera, Head of the Talent Management Area, who shared Magtel’s perspective on current challenges in training and employment.

With the attendance of institutional representatives such as Diego Copé, Regional Delegate for Educational Development, Vocational Training and University, Research and Innovation of the Regional Government of Andalusia, and Juan José Giner, Vice-Rector for Students, Access and Employability at the University of Córdoba, the event also brought together key stakeholders from the education sector and talent management in the local business environment. Together, they analysed the role of training in meeting new labour market demands, including the gap between education and employment and the need to adapt learning models to an increasingly digitalised environment.

Talent development

In this context, Inmaculada Junquera highlighted the importance of identifying, attracting and developing talent as a strategic lever to face the challenges of sectors in which Magtel operates, such as energy, infrastructure and digitalisation. She emphasised the company’s commitment to continuous training, collaboration with educational institutions and the creation of professional opportunities linked to technological projects.

The discussion also addressed the challenge of attracting and retaining talent in Córdoba, focusing on how to build an environment that supports career development, promotes the creation of skilled employment and fosters new business initiatives, while strengthening the province’s position in an increasingly competitive landscape compared to hubs such as Málaga, Seville or Madrid.
