Last Thursday, October 9, the “Aula Mandatum” event was held at the Córdoba Visitor Reception Center, featuring Magtel through Francisco Javier de la Cruz Romero, Head of Occupational Health and Safety.

The event began at 12:00 PM with a welcome address by María Luisa Gómez Calero, General Manager of the Municipal Institute of Economic Development and Business of Córdoba, who greeted the participants and attendees.

The sessions started with Jaume Ayerbe, General Director of Revenue at Nalanda a Once For All Company, who delivered a presentation on the applicability of AI in occupational health and safety.

Next, Javier Martínez, Customer Engineer Manager for Google Cloud Spain and Portugal, spoke about the opportunities offered by AI in the field of safety.

Magtel’s participation followed, with Francisco Javier de la Cruz joining a roundtable on “Practical Application in Occupational Health and Safety”. He was accompanied by:

• Juan José Losada, Global Director of H&S, Cosentino
• José Quesada de Dios, Head of Labor Management, Prevention, and Wellbeing, Bofrost
• Miguel Ranchal, Head of PRL Service, Aguas de Córdoba
• Jacinto Gallego, Director of H&S, Cunext Group

During the roundtable, the participants discussed the company’s risk prevention principles, highlighting unconscious risks that pose daily threats in the workplace.

The presentations concluded with Raúl Jiménez, Managing Director of the Andalusian Digital Agency (ADA), who shared his experience applying AI in public administration.

The session closed with remarks from Beatriz Barranco Montes, Deputy Minister of Employment, Business, and Self-Employment of the Junta de Andalucía.
