Isidro López Magdaleno, Chairman of CECO’s Industry Committee and Vice President of Magtel, plays a key role in fostering collaboration between businesses and the military institution
The collaboration between the Confederation of Employers of Córdoba (CECO) and the Spanish Army in the development of the Army Logistics Base (BLET) continues to strengthen as one of the main drivers of industrial growth in the province. Throughout this process, the involvement of the local business network has proven key in addressing the technical and operational challenges of the project.
CECO hosted a working meeting between the new Head of the Army Logistics Support Command (MALE), Lieutenant General Guillermo Ramírez Altozano, and the President of the business organisation, Antonio Díaz. The meeting was also attended by General Enrique Ruíz Alonso and Colonel Francisco Javier Vílchez. Representing CECO were, among others, the President of the Industry, Energy and Sustainable Development Committee and Vice President of Magtel, Isidro López Magdaleno, as well as the Secretary General, José Manuel Rodríguez-Carretero, together with other representatives of Córdoba’s business community.
The development of the BLET will involve significant investment and will require the participation of companies with expertise in areas such as infrastructure, energy, telecommunications and digitalisation. These are fields in which companies like Magtel have a well-established track record, focused on delivering complex projects that integrate advanced technical solutions and sustainability criteria.
