The AD-GRHID project, coordinated by Magtel, has been included among the Spanish initiatives featured in the National Pilots Report 2026, an international report that showcases innovative projects aimed at accelerating renewable energy integration and the transformation of energy systems.
The report has been prepared within the framework of the Green Powered Future Mission, an initiative under Mission Innovation, the global alliance dedicated to advancing clean energy technologies.
The AD-GRHID project, developed as part of Magtel’s R&D&I activities, is one of the 34 Spanish projects included in this edition of the report, which will be presented during the upcoming Green Powered Future Mission international meeting, scheduled to take place from 11 to 13 October in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The event will be held as part of CEM17/MI-11, one of the leading international forums on clean energy and innovation. The gathering brings together public authorities, research centres, companies and other key stakeholders from the energy ecosystem to exchange progress, discuss technological developments and define the priorities that will shape the future of the energy transition.
AD-GRHID addresses the integration of renewable generation, energy storage and green hydrogen through an intelligent management platform capable of dynamically coordinating the different resources within the energy system. The project aims to improve the operational flexibility of energy facilities, optimise the use of available renewable energy and enhance their ability to adapt to changing production and demand conditions.
Magtel acts as the consortium coordinator and is responsible for plant integration, as well as for the development of the advanced control system based on predictive models. This control architecture makes it possible to anticipate different operating scenarios and optimise the integrated management of energy assets in order to improve performance and efficiency.
Its inclusion in the National Pilots Report 2026 places the project among an international selection of initiatives exploring new solutions to strengthen the flexibility, stability and sustainability of energy systems. It also enhances the international visibility of the consortium’s achievements and the capabilities developed in areas such as renewable energy integration, energy storage and renewable hydrogen.
The Green Powered Future Mission (GPFM) is one of the international initiatives promoted by Mission Innovation, the global alliance for the development of clean energy technologies. Its goal is to accelerate the integration of renewable energy into electricity systems by supporting innovative projects focused on smart grids, energy storage, digitalisation and power system flexibility.
