Magtel has been awarded the Andalusian Brand of Excellence in Equality distinction in the large company category, granted by the Regional Minister of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families, and Equality, Loles López, and promoted by the Andalusian Women’s Institute (IAM). The award was accepted by Magtel’s Board Member, Auxiliadora López Magdaleno.
This recognition highlights the company’s commitment and efforts in promoting equality. It reinforces the goal of giving visibility to organizations that develop exemplary equality policies and implement best practices in this area.
In this regard, the company has promoted initiatives that foster equal opportunities for women and men, and has carried out awareness and training actions related to equality within its recruitment processes, as well as in its internal promotion and compensation policies.
Magtel Board Member, Auxiliadora López Magdaleno, emphasized the company’s commitment to equality and diversity: “As a technology company with more than 35 years of experience, we work to transform and improve our environment. Every day we strive to develop policies that guarantee equal treatment and opportunities for all,” she stated.
She added that, within this framework, the organization has promoted “equality plans, training programs, and actions that foster diversity and work-life balance at all levels of the company.”
Concluding her remarks, López Magdaleno stressed the importance of maintaining equality as a continuous commitment: “At Magtel, we firmly believe that equality is not just a goal but a daily commitment. This recognition motivates us to keep working even harder, convinced that a fairer and more inclusive society is possible.” Magtel’s Board Member was accompanied by the Head of the People Area, Beatriz López Alba.
The Regional Government of Andalusia highlighted the importance of this distinction, which aims to recognize and encourage companies that make an effort to promote gender equality through measures that facilitate equality plans and work-life balance for their employees.
