Deployment of NB-IoT Smart Metering System for Water Meters in Seville and Surrounding Areas
In collaboration with Contazara and the Metropolitan Water Supply and Sanitation Company of Seville (Emasesa), we have successfully executed the deployment of a new smart water metering system based on NB-IoT (Narrowband Internet of Things) technology.

This project was implemented in Seville city and 11 municipalities in the province, marking a major milestone in the digitalization of the water cycle and the modernization of hydraulic infrastructure. The implemented solution enables remote, real-time transmission of consumption data, significantly improving operational efficiency and allowing for early detection of leaks, anomalies, or unauthorized usage.

Thanks to the integration of this technology, water consumption monitoring is now more accurate, continuous, and automated, eliminating the need for manual readings, optimizing billing processes, and offering a more transparent and user-friendly experience for end users.
