Magtel has received the ‘Our Energy’ Award in the first edition of the Our Industry, Energy and Mining prizes, organised by the Regional Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Andalusian Government and presented during the NISE Seville 2025 Congress.

This recognition, collected by Magtel’s Vice President, Juan Luis López Magdaleno, highlights Magtel’s strategic contribution to Andalusia’s energy development, leading projects that drive the transition towards a more sustainable and digital model. The company has established itself as a benchmark in technological innovation applied to renewable energies, smart grids and solutions that strengthen the region’s energy autonomy.

Alongside Magtel, other leading companies in different industrial fields were honoured. Cosentino Industrial received the award in the ‘Our Industry’ category; Sandfire Matsa was recognised in the ‘Our Mining’ category; the Honorary Award for Professional Career went to Aurelio García Álvarez of Keyter; and the Institutional Recognition was granted to Movex, Fundación Centro Tecnológico de la Piel de Andalucía.

During the ceremony, Regional Minister Jorge Paradela stressed that the award winners “represent how we can harness Europe’s industrial transformation”, highlighting the role of companies like Magtel in the dual energy and digital transition facing the region.

The NISE Seville 2025 Congress, held at FIBES and actively attended by Magtel, brought together more than 70 exhibitors, 80 speakers and 3,500 registrants, and served to lay the foundations for a biennial event that will project the major debates of Andalusia’s industry.
