We are a Spanish technology-based company with over 30 years of experience in applying innovative solutions to the design, construction, and maintenance of projects in the energy, engineering, telecommunications, digital transformation, and infrastructure sectors.

Our goal is to equip infrastructures with the most advanced technological systems to contribute to greater efficiency in the use of natural resources and to improve the quality of life for today’s society and future generations.

We have a team of highly qualified professionals who drive each of our projects. Thanks to their talent and dedication, we offer a comprehensive service that covers everything from consulting and engineering to the execution, operation, and maintenance of infrastructures.

Our History

Magtel was founded in Posadas (Córdoba) in 1990 with a clear vision: to provide innovative solutions in the fields of infrastructure and telecommunications.

A family-owned company from the beginning, Magtel has always maintained a strong commitment to technological development, sustainability, and service excellence.

Over more than three decades, Magtel has experienced solid growth thanks to diversification, its capacity for innovation, human talent, and its investment in R&D&I.

Today, Magtel continues to look to the future with the same determination as in its early days, driving projects that improve people’s quality of life and contribute to the sustainable development of the regions in which it operates.

1990-2000

Apertura de tienda de telefonía

  • Comercialización de los primeros modelos de terminales

Crisis

  • Búsqueda de nuevos clientes y horizontes
  • Se incorporan nuevos clientes: Alcatel, Radiotrónica, Cablinsa

Gran proyecto de fibra óptica: Enagás

  • Despliegue entre los municipios de Dos Hermanas (Sevilla) y Ciudad real
  • Participamos en el cambio de analógico a digital de nuestro cliente Telefónica

Sumamos otro gran cliente: Renfe

  • Compramos los primeros equipos de fibra óptica y reflectómetro
  • Nos certificamos en la ISO 9001
  • Despliegue de 5.000 km de fibra óptica para Renfe
  • Sumamos nuevos clientes tras la liberalización de las telecomunicaciones: Supercable y Uni2

Abrimos nuevas delegaciones

  • Apertura de sedes de Córdoba y Sevilla
  • Participamos en el desarrollo de los polígonos industriales con dos de nuestros grandes clientes: Supercable y Telefónica

2001-2012

  • Conseguimos la homologación EFQM en Comunicaciones y Seguridad
  • Realizamos un gran despliegue de fibra en líneas AVE: Madrid y Barcelona, Zaragoza y Huesca.

  • Internacionalización: primera instalación de radio-enlace en Panamá para Ericsson
  • Puesta en marcha de El Molino y La Castilleja
  • Creación de la División de Sistemas desarrollando la Red Corporativa de la Junta de Andalucía, trece puntos de información en puertos deportivos andaluces y sistemas de control y automatización de plantas solares

  • Constitución de la sociedad Magtel USA Inc. para desarrollar proyectos fotovoltaicos en Texas (EE.UU)

  • Comienzo de la FTTH (Fiber to The Home): Fibra óptica hasta el hogar
  • Apertura de la Delegación de Paraguay
  • Apertura de la Delegación de Portugal
  • Promoción de más de 1.700 MW en energía fotovoltaica
  • Puesta en marcha del servicio de rehabilitación sin zanja de #RehabNoDig
  • Supervisión y dirección de obra del despliegue de la red dorsal nacional de fibra óptica de Perú
  • Creación de nuestra División de Minería
  • Cumplimos 30 años de innovación y tecnología al servicio del cliente
  • Hacia la transformación digital plena
