Magtel consolidates its position as a strategic partner in the field of national defence, thanks to its involvement in key technological projects and the achievement of official certifications that endorse its capability and reliability.
The company is registered in the Defence Industry Register of the Ministry of Defence, which certifies its readiness to collaborate in industrial initiatives within the sector. In addition, it holds the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, issued by AENOR, guaranteeing information security in engineering, consultancy and technical assistance services in IT and communications networks.
In line with the requirements of the National Security Framework (ENS), Magtel has certified its information systems at MEDIUM level, ensuring data protection in electronic administration environments.
Magtel promotes strategic initiatives such as Critical Fog, aimed at protecting and efficiently managing critical infrastructures through advanced technologies based on Fog/Cloud architectures, and Omega-X, a European project that develops interoperable energy data spaces, ensuring sovereignty, security and efficiency in information exchange within the Gaia-X ecosystem.
Furthermore, Magtel has developed advanced technological solutions in the energy sector that reinforce its innovative positioning. Among these is a control system for predictive maintenance in photovoltaic plants, validated in a real 600 kW environment, which anticipates failures, optimises performance and increases the availability of solar assets. Likewise, the company has designed and validated a next-generation Energy Management System (EMS) through the AD-GRHID project, capable of providing flexibility and resilience services through the intelligent coordination of storage systems and renewable generation. This platform enables optimal and automated operation of renewable microgrids, contributing to grid stability in scenarios of high renewable penetration. With these solutions, Magtel continues to expand its portfolio of proprietary technological products, focused on operational efficiency, energy security and advanced management of critical infrastructures.
In the context of digital transformation, Magtel has developed initiatives such as the adaptation of the Andalusian Cybersecurity Centre (CIAN) in Málaga and participation in the development and maintenance of the Hispalnet network for Seville City Council. Additionally, Magtel undertakes projects that contribute to sustainability, such as energy storage through reversible hydropower plants (+5,000 MW), waste-to-biogas transformation projects (400 GWh/year) and the development of green hydrogen plants (+200 MW).
