Magtel has been selected as Córdoba’s finalist in the category of “Innovation and Knowledge Transfer” in the first edition of the Andalucía Trade Awards, organised by the Regional Ministry of Economy, Finance, European Funds and Social Dialogue through Andalucía Trade. This recognition distinguishes companies that stand out for their commitment to innovation, competitiveness and contribution to the region’s economic development.
Finalist Companies
The provincial jury in Córdoba has chosen finalists in the other categories: Ximenez Iluminación (Business Trajectory), Cunext Copper (Industrial Development), Cobiomic (Startups), and Tonelería del Sur (International Development). These companies will compete for the final awards alongside those selected in the other seven Andalusian provinces. From among all of them, the regional jury will decide which companies win in each category.
The provincial jury was chaired by Agustín López, Delegate for Economy, Finance, European Funds and Social Dialogue and for Industry, Energy and Mines of the Junta in Córdoba, and included Antonio Díaz, President of the Córdoba Employers’ Confederation (CECO); Carmen Gago, Secretary General of the Córdoba Chamber of Commerce; Francisco Bernal, CEO of Córdoba-based company SP Group; and Rafael Romero, Director of Diario Córdoba.
Magtel’s Commitment to Innovation
For Magtel, this nomination represents recognition of the work carried out on projects that integrate technology, sustainability and social development. “This achievement is the result of the effort and dedication of everyone at Magtel. Our goal is to continue driving solutions that create value for society and contribute to a more sustainable future,” the company’s management emphasised.
Next Step: Regional Jury Decision
After the selection of provincial finalists, the regional jury of the Andalucía Trade Awards will decide which companies win in each category. This process will take place once all the shortlisted candidates from the eight Andalusian provinces have been reviewed, consolidating the first edition of these awards.
