These companies came together in a common commitment to make this project an international technological and environmental point of reference.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The high degree of innovation of the installations and their operation position them as a point of reference not only in Andalusia, but also nationwide. <span style=\"color: #0146a2;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.africanaenergia.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Africana Energ\u00eda<\/a><\/span> uses cylindrical-parabolic technology to capture solar rays; a clean, mature technology made for a large-scale installation and a thermal storage system that enables it to provide energy even at night and with overcast skies.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0146a2;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.africanaenergia.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Africana Energ\u00eda<\/a><\/span> represents an investment of 387 million euros and has a rated power of 50 MW that will generate over 180 million kilowatts an hour, equivalent to the consumption of 100,000 homes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1115\" src=\"http:\/\/www.magtel.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/heliostatos-2-La-Africana-1024x475.jpg\" alt=\"heliostatos-2-La-Africana\" width=\"1024\" height=\"475\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.africanaenergia.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-822\" considerable efforts in promotion, engineering and license and permit management, and after four years\u2019 work, Magtel was the only 100% Andalusian company able to pre-assign a solar thermal plant
