These facilities store energy during periods of low demand and release it when the system requires it, directly contributing to the balance between energy supply and demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main benefits of these systems is their ability to shift renewable energy generation \u2014 which is inherently intermittent \u2014 to times of day when it is most needed. In this way, the use of clean energy sources is optimized, dependency on conventional sources is reduced, and overall system efficiency is improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, these systems are designed to provide essential ancillary services for the proper functioning of the electrical grid, such as frequency regulation, voltage stabilization, and fast response to grid disturbances. Thanks to their power electronics, they can respond with high precision across all regulation levels \u2014 from primary (immediate) control to tertiary regulation \u2014 playing a decisive role in the stability and security of power supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scope of action and installed capacities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The projects are being carried out in three Andalusian provinces: M\u00e1laga, C\u00f3rdoba, and Seville.
