These facilities provide stability and flexibility to the power system, and their role is key in the context of growing renewable energy generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presentation was delivered by <strong>Andr\u00e9s Zapico<\/strong>, Magtel\u2019s Director of Hydropower Projects, who outlined the key technical and functional aspects of this type of infrastructure, as well as the active role the company is playing in driving its development at a national level<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his address, he highlighted the importance of pumped storage. This technology strengthens security of supply and facilitates the integration of renewable energy.
