The works will be carried out for the company CAF Signalling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Magtel will undertake the signalling systems, which include the installation of local operating posts and cab equipment; the deployment of train\u2011detection systems; signals; terminal boxes; and signalling and power\u2011supply cabling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With regard to train\u2011protection systems, technicians will install the ASFA system (Automatic Braking and Signal Announcement), whose purpose is to transmit the information ordered or provided by lineside signals, alerting the driver through visual and acoustic indications inside the cab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for civil\u2011works activities, the project will involve trenching, ducting, manholes and inspection chambers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the assembly and installation of distribution frames will be carried out, along with splicing and testing of the fibre\u2011optic communications cable network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, for operational safety, approved safety lookouts will be provided to ensure the protection and supervision of works taking place on the track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Telecommunications Division,
